A new stateside competitor in the compact range is the Chevy Cruze. A nicely designed European roof line from a 2003 Audi A4! I thought the Cruze was vaguely familiar. Better late than never, GM.
So here we have a silver 2003 Audi and a new 2004 updated red Audi...er...2012 Chevy. Tweak the tail lights, remove some chrome and there you have it. I am speaking from an overall design point of view and not the technological improvements (gee, I hope so) of the Cruze.
Note how the Cruze's C-pillar roof line flows into the rear bumper. Seen to good advantage in this lighting. Very nice. Overall a very clean design which should not look dated for a long, long time.
Yeah.
Like an old Audi.
